workshop proposals

An important aspect of the conference which makes MWOLC unique is its focus on undergraduate students. Since it first began in 2011, the conference has been planned, executed and attended largely by undergraduate students, making a more affordable and accessible conference with an emphasis on peer learning and student leadership.

This being said, the success of the conference depends on the contribution and participation of student attendees, as many of the workshops are student-led.

We would like to invite all interested participants to present a workshop at MWOLC 2023.

The workshops are typically 25, 50, or 90 minute break-out sessions categorized by the workshop tracks in which individuals share their research, experiences, and knowledge with other attendees.

Presenting can also be a great resume addition, confidence builder, and overall a fun experience!
